It was certainly the BIGGEST Morning Tea ever at Jenny Macleod Retirement Village.
Residents came together to host a huge morning tea in the community hall and raised $2,627. The total raised was $1,000 more than the previous year which was a stellar effort and demonstrates their generosity and community spirit.
Approximately 90 residents, family, friends and staff attended and came together for a cuppa. There was a buzz of excitement with stalls to browse over, raffles, a silent auction and a fine selection of homemade cakes and biscuits to keep everyone entertained and happy.
The funds raised are being donated to the Cancer Council for cancer research, treatment and prevention. If you would like more information about the Cancer Council or to make a donation, go to: www.cancercouncil.com.au
